Steve Mele, Managing Director Steve is the Managing Director of the Group. Based in the UK and the US, Steve is a Global Human Resources professional. During his career he lived and worked in the United States, France, Luxembourg and the UK. As the Chief HR Officer (CHRO) of Towers Watson, Steve played a leading role in the post-merger integration between Watson Wyatt and Towers Perrin. Steve has extensive global experience in oil and gas, financial and professional services.
Naomi Sutcliffe
Naomi has recently been the Head of Human Resources Europe, for the Human Resource/Actuarial consultancy firm Watson Wyatt. Here, Naomi was responsible for the HR leadership and services across 14 countries and 3000 associates. Watson Wyatt merged with Towers Perrin to create Towers Watson last year and Naomi led the merger related HR activities. Prior to joining Watson Wyatt, Naomi worked at Dunnhumby as Group Human Resources Director. Dunnhumby is a marketing professional services company (owned by Tesco PLC) providing a broad range of customer insight and data management services for major clients such as Tesco, Casino, Best Buy, Proctor & Gamble and Kroger. Naomi was responsible for the development and delivery of the overall Dunnhumby people proposition, HR strategy and infrastructure to support the achievement of Dunnhumby’s aggressive growth goals. Prior to Dunnhumby Naomi was at Mercer Human Resource Consulting for 9 years. Initially her role was to provide the human resource leadership and services for the 5000 employees within Mercer UK and Europe. Later, she was appointed head of Global Learning and Development for the Mercer global business (circa 13,500 employees). This role centred on creating (and implementing) a talent, learning and development strategy that enabled business success and provided a compelling employee attraction and retention proposition. Previous to Mercer, Naomi worked (1984 –1994) in a number of human resource capacities throughout Europe and the Middle East with American Express – working in the travel, card, insurance and banking operations. Her early career in human resources was in the leisure sector working with Rank Leisure, Rank Hotels and Scottish and Newcastle Hotels.
Chris Howorth
Chris has worked for the past 14 years at Royal Holloway, University of London and has held a number of leadership roles in the College centrally and in the School of Management where he is, currently, Director of Executive Programmes. He has responsibility for developing commercial engagement within the School in line with College priorities and national initiatives. Chris’s research focuses on leadership, change management and diversity. This has mainly focused on public sector organisations and NHS hospital trusts in particular but has also included organisations in a diverse range of sectors from the construction industry to the publicly funded arts. Raymond Pun
Thirteen years ago at Standard Chartered Bank, Raymond ran the global PeopleSoft HR system, recruited a new technical team and managed all maintenance and system upgrade projects. Then he became one of the key project managers for the Bank's benchmark journey of setting up HR Shared Services. This was part of a program saving millions of USD per annum. He managed the IT projects delivering HR self-services and e-training to 60,000 employees worldwide. He also ran the teams which set up the work site and system infrastructure for Shared Services personnel. Later on Raymond managed the transition of global expatriate services into the Shared Services Centre, which saved another million per year. After that he led the multiple implementation teams lifting recruitment, reward, HR administration and employee training processes from 20+ local countries to Shared Services. As a Stanford University Certified Project Manager (among fewer than 200 SCPM ® in Asia), Raymond is specifically trained to optimize projects and drive them towards tighter alignment to business strategy.
